Reportedly two former Mossad agents give details about an operation and the level of deception they went to. At around three minutes in the video Proverbs 24:6 is mentioned as a kind of motto for Mossad.

Proverbs 24:6 For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: and in multitude of counsellors there is safety.

The title of the book is the English translation of the former motto of the Mossad, a phrase from Proverbs 24:6, be-tahbūlōt ta`aseh lekhā milkhamāh (Hebrew: בתחבולות תעשה לך מלחמה), which means "By way of deception you shall engage in war."

23 Dec 2024 - Ex-Israeli agents reveal how pager attacks were carried out

The two ex-Mossad agents told CBS News how Hezbollah was duped into buying thousands of rigged walkie-talkies and pagers without realising they were made in Israel.

Dozens of people were killed and thousands injured in the attacks. Israel said it was tailored to target only Hezbollah members, but civilians were among the victims, Lebanese officials said.

The UN human rights chief called the attack a war crime.

In the YouTube video above the supposedly ex-Mossad agents say Mossad is a global production company that writes the scripts and the world is their stage. On a slightly different note. It might be just me but I am always wary of people who like to claim God is on their side. It feels like a minefield of biblical interpretations. Which is a bit like Psalm 22.

There are also passages which condemn lying in general: "He that does deceit shall not dwell within My house; he that speaks false-hood shall not be established before My eyes" (Psalm 101:7), "There are six things which the Lord hates, indeed, seven which are an abomination unto Him: Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood" (Proverbs 6, see Prov 6:16–17, 19) and "Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord; but they who deal truly are His delight" (Proverbs 12, see Prov 12:22),

However, in various biblical stories, those who lie and mislead are not necessarily condemned, and in some cases are praised. Biblical figures that engaged in deception include Abraham, Isaac, Simeon, and Levi. The Torah does not prohibit lying if no one is harmed.
