How do you tell if it's raining? Look outside the window. How do you know if you have cracked a glass ceiling? Look for comments that are not generally made. While far from a trend and hard to spot the narratives of a bad situation can be the last to go. Whenever the narratives go people follow in the propaganda/proxy wars. Proxy wars are a special kind of propaganda war. The stand-off distance is for a reason.

The blame game: We will get to Germany in a moment but look at Moscow's response to the latest round of sanctions just 10 days before Trump takes office. While President Joe Biden does not seem to know where he is and Russia was being sanctioned before Biden took office. President Joe Biden is the scapegoat for Russian sanctions. For lack of a better word, Russia is conforming on its own to parts of the narrative for the American Proxy war.

10 Jan 2025 - Moscow comments on latest US sanctions

US President Joe Biden’s only legacy will be the “mess” he leaves behind, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has said in response to Washington announcing new oil- and gas-related sanctions on Moscow.

In addition to major oil and gas producers, the US has targeted more than 30 oilfield service providers, insurance companies, and over 180 vessels used to deliver Russian oil. That so-called “shadow fleet” has continued to operate after the US and its allies banned Russian ships from obtaining insurance in the West and tried to impose a price cap on oil sales, to no effect.

Gazprom Neft CEO Aleksandr Dyukov, LUKOIL head Vadim Vorobyev, Zarubezhneft head Sergey Kudryashov, Tatneft head Nail Maganov, Bashneft CEO Vladimir Chernov and Rosatom CEO Aleksey Likhachev have also been added to the US blacklist.

Now look at this response from a German chancellor candidate, granted it is only from a candidate but the quest in any narrative tends to be the moral high ground. Cracks in the narrative also try and take a moral high ground. Like when somebody says the quiet part out loud. Part of the quiet part is not Joe Bide but Washington, America, and the blood trail of U.S. Proxy wars and for what?

13 Jan 2025 - Anti-Russian sanctions killing German companies - chancellor candidate

"The sanctions have nothing to do with morality, they have nothing to do with human rights, they have nothing to do with the love of peace, they are simply a stimulus program for the US economy and a killer program for German and European companies,” Wagenknecht said.

The left-wing politician condemned Washington's foreign policy, alerting the audience about "the blood trail of US proxy wars" around the globe. She stressed that the German chancellor must not be "a vassal" of the US.

Back on the narrative again but with another crack. These sanctions could hurt Americans? Granted some of these comments could provide Trump(The U.S. administration, deep state, and Congress) with some wiggle room but the sanctions could hurt Americans.

More than 16,500 sanctions applied to Russia, follow the money. Hide in plain sight with billions in aid, or a million ways to die in the West with an inheritance tax. I couldn't save her. She had a splinter. Doc, what the hell are you supposed to do?

24 Feb 2024 - What are the sanctions on Russia and have they affected its economy?

Announcing 500 new sanctions against Russia, US President Joe Biden said they would target Russia's war machine. Export restrictions will be imposed on nearly 100 firms or individuals.

Since Russia's invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, the US, UK and EU, along with countries including Australia, Canada and Japan, have imposed more than 16,500 sanctions on Russia.

Their main target has been Russia's money.
