This is a result of a recent shooting in which people were killed including two police officers.

17 Feb 2023 - Queensland police beef up assessments of sovereign citizens, people with extremist beliefs following Wieambilla 'terrorist attack'

"You will be aware of recent media reporting regarding a statement released by the QPS relating to the tragic events in Wieambilla in December 2022," the email said.

"This commentary will result in increased reporting to police regarding members of the community who allegedly hold a range of ideological beliefs."This includes conspiracy theorists and religious-related ideology."

Police were advised in the internal document of risks associated with dealing with extremists.

As a result, officers must record all interactions with people holding ideological beliefs in the central information database used by officers across the state known as QPrime at the "first available opportunity", according to the email sighted by the ABC.

It will then be assessed by the state's counter-terrorism investigation teams.

Some of that language in the news report, if you know any about our Health and Safety laws you have to do risk assessments and implement an action that might prevent the situation from occurring again. Looks like a new procedure to take certain interactions up to the state counter-terrorism level.

Ideological beliefs can come in all forms and can be a dangerous mix of Government, medical, teachers, religious, and social. We have laws that you have to be eighteen to get a tattoo but a sex change operation on minors with invasive procedures. That is a bridge too far for me. So I guess that's one of my ideological beliefs.

Do I need a disclaimer with this? I am in Queensland, Tin Who and Austin are more intended as user names/pen names and not as an alias. If your law enforcement it should not be too hard to look me up if needed.

In Queensland, Tasmania, Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia, body-piercers aren’t allowed to give teenagers under 18 years piercings in intimate areas, even if teenagers have parental permission.

If psychiatrists and psychologists' opinions vary from one group of psychiatrists and psychologists to another, is that science or ideology?
