There may be varying opinions about Trump's power move with his handshake. When you are a political leader of another country. I would suspect you would have profilers and psychologists. Helping you to meet leaders from other countries and deal with any cultural misinterpretations. I would also suspect when you are at that level you would have no qualms about stabbing somebody in the back for the sake of a risk vs reward objective or to put somebody in their place.
So after reading some U.S. comments on a power move handshake by Trump with Macron. For some, it means America is back. My money would be on Macron doing whatever he thinks is needed to be done despite a Trump power move handshake. Whenever, whatever, or wherever.

7 Dec 2024 - Social media reacts to Trump 'dominating world leaders' with Macron handshake during meeting in France
"President Trump is back to dominating world leaders with his handshake," one user, George, wrote in a post on X. "Macron is going to need a hand massage after all that twisting and pulling Trump did to him."
"President Trump manhandles French President Emmanuel Macron with one of the most dominating handshakes I’ve ever seen," said commentator Drew Hernandez. "We are so back."
If I was being honest I highly doubt anybody cares about the distraction of a stupid handshake. They instead would probably based on history take any perceived threats seriously.

Foreign interventions by the United States - WIKI
The United States government has been involved in numerous interventions in foreign countries throughout its history. The U.S. has engaged in nearly 400 military interventions between 1776 and 2023, with half of these operations occurring since 1950 and over 25% occurring in the post-Cold War period.
Although various American companies already had personnel in Ukraine fulfilling contracts for the Ukrainian government, this new policy allowed the Pentagon to provide contracts to American companies for work inside Ukraine for the first time since Russia invaded in 2022. Pentagon officials emphasized the contractors will be located far from the front lines and will not engage Russian forces, and the policy change will result in a range of a few dozen to a few hundred contractors working inside Ukraine at a time.[152] On 17 November 2024, Biden allowed Ukraine to launch U.S.-made long-range missiles deep into Russian territory.

America can't have sovereign countries using their own currency to trade instead of U.S. dollars. So America is back to threats.
If we lost the dollar... That would make us a third world country and we can't let it happen.
Trump makes a number of interesting statements in regards to why sovereign countries should not being allowed to trade with their own currency.
- 1:16 mins If we lost the dollar continuing as the world's currency I think that would be the equivalent of losing a war. That would make us a third world country and we can't let it happen.
- 2:00 mins If you don't honor the dollar as the world's currency..... that's OK I am going to put tariffs all over your products.
- 3:01 mins And these countries like Russia. It's going out now and doing its own thing and ya know they're going out bragging about how they don't need us anymore. etc etc...
8 Sep 2024 Trump Raises Alarm Over De-Dollarisation Push; ‘Will Be Like Losing A War…’ | US Elections - Hindustan Times
If America needs more US dollars do they just need to add a zero to the balance sheet of the Fed? Trump threatens BRICS with 100% tariffs if BRICS tries to move away from the US dollar. You could call it an acknowledgment that the U.S. might be worried about systems that moves away from the effectiveness of the dollar and sanctions from the West for US foreign policy. Of course, the threats from a US decision is exactly the reason why other countries might not feel safe with staying with the dollar and payment systems.
