One of my pet hates, hate is a strong word yet it is an understatement of sometimes how I feel about it. It is when people get on their high horse and they will say the bible is clear. Usually, it is when they are preaching to somebody about what they should be doing to be a good Christian. If you don't have your shit together you might as well be one of the horses out of Revelation 6. Sure, I can have an opinion on the word of God but I hope when I get challenged that I have no issues to just say it is my opinion.
Hebrew 4:12-13
12 For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. 13 And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account.
Proverbs 18 : 21 New Living Translation
18 The tongue can bring death or life; those who love to talk will reap the consequences.
Consequences? What are the consequences of telling somebody it is the word of God when is it not? I have often thought we don't have the word of God because in my mind. If we had the word of God we would be kicking satan's arse. God help us all.
Revelation 6
6 I watched as the Lamb opened the first of the seven seals. Then I heard one of the four living creatures say in a voice like thunder, “Come!” 2 I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest.
3 When the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, “Come!” 4 Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make people kill each other. To him was given a large sword.
5 When the Lamb opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come!” I looked, and there before me was a black horse! Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand. 6 Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, “Two pounds[a] of wheat for a day’s wages,[b] and six pounds[c] of barley for a day’s wages,[d] and do not damage the oil and the wine!”
7 When the Lamb opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, “Come!” 8 I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth.
The video is another example of miss-translations and understandings.
