Raymond Elwood Howard Lear Jr. proclaimed himself a "returned messiah" on 28 January 2011, following a video surfacing online of lights manifesting over the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Israel. Since 2011, Lear has been the de-jure leader of the Ecumenical Order of Christ, which claims over 7000 members on their Facebook group. Lear took the name Lord Rayel following his proclamation of being the messiah.
You know if you claim you are the return of the Messiah. You would have to feel pretty disappointed you did not even make it into a top ten list of people who are claiming to be the Messiah.
