I have seen an ex-Australian politician make a quick comment about this story. Rupert still owns some media in Australia. Of course, Australian democracy is completely different than American democracy and our media has a completely different attitude. Actually from what I remember they were more circumspect with Trump's allegations than the US. Still, it feels like the links are deep and some might argue(including me at times) that some of our media has an image problem.
