Here are some thoughts and my own layman’s thoughts/opinions about Paradigms. If you read Chapter 7 on Confirmation Bias. Especially the list of List Of Cognitive Biases Wiki that can also be found in the chapter. They represent some of the daily confirmation biases we have. Paradigms are frameworks through which we can interpret reality.
- Spin the bottle of truth, and it might kiss you sometimes.
- Prophecy is a head shrink. For there to be prophecy, God would have to be controlling both sides of the equation. There are always two sides to a prophetic message; be careful. Even false prophets can be prophetic if God decides to flip the switch. Did you realize what I just did wrong or right with saying false prophet? A servant is not above his master.
- You can’t see the forest for the trees. You can’t see the paradigms for the opinions.
- Pop is evil but popcorn is not, Grabbing popcorn. You’re all doing great.
- Evolution doesn’t teach ethics. Nature shapes survival, not conscience. If you understand the concept of things, morality must be chosen, not evolved.
- Creation science vs. evolution science, or climate change vs. natural cycle: as with any of the numerous diametrically opposed scientific positions, do you ever wonder why modern universities, with modern scientific methodology, are producing so many scientists who will be wrong?
- If a person from a GTMNBN with no scientific qualifications encounters a creation scientist with scientific credentials, odds are they will go and find another scientific opinion. Credentials only apply when they can silence your voice, a type of licence to kill. Selah.
- If there is no such thing as ethical evolution. There is no such thing as ethical science. The proprietary removable fact theory states the fact that a removable fact is not a fact, in a repeatable and recurring observation, due to relativity, and is highly likely to occur in nature.
- The proprietary removable fact theory states the fact that a removable fact is not a fact, in a repeatable and recurring observation, due to relativity, and is highly likely to occur in nature. ( Fixed – science is an observable and repeatable observation, why, because Einstein never completed his theory of relativity, and don’t get me started on the Darwin awards)
- The paradox of tolerance states that if a society’s practice of tolerance is inclusive of the intolerant, intolerance will ultimately dominate, eliminating the tolerant and the practice of tolerance with them. Paradox of tolerance – Wikipedia
- A psychological bias a day keeps the doctor and insanity away.
- Expose a bias each day, lest it crown itself king.
- If you put three psychologists in a room, and they all have different opinions. What does that mean asked the fourth psychologist.
- The hammer of logic seldom cracks the psychological nut.
- If you improve your understanding of the principles of spiritual law, does better discernment follows?
- Choose life – A tree of good and evil, but L.U.C.K equals Laboring Under Correct Knowledge. Way down, deep down, the choice tends to be between ego and survival.
- Belief and doubt dance in the same mystery—one is chosen.
- What is the GTMNBN, and what is the building? F-22 pilots would never fly below buildings; that’s alien. That ain’t friendly.
- Everybody has some form of Stockholm syndrome (with government, society, community, leaders, or friends). They just don’t know it. The theory tries to explain why hostages sometimes develop a psychological bond with their captors.
- God, the master of backhanded compliments: My God is with me? He would only be with me cause he would rather choose me than those other idiots. 1 Corinthians 1:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise, and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
- When God refers to humans being dumb like sheep, do you ever wonder if he is insulting the sheep?
- Reality sucks; without God, there is no delusion. Ecclesiastes 5:1 Guard your steps when you go to the house of God. Go near to listen rather than to offer the sacrifice of fools, who do not know that they do wrong.
- Facts are only facts when everyone agrees. An acceptable fact is any opinion that is acceptable as a fact. If you think that is crazy, the media presents an agreed-upon set of facts all the time. Journalism is the art of the deal or possibly a NATO alliance.
- Robust, truthful media is the jewel of any society. The gatekeeper has no clothes.
- Interpretations are imagination. Don’t just gloss over that; it goes deep. Interpretations are imagination, like a desk is a desk because everybody agrees on what the shape of a desk looks like. If you are sitting at a desk, is it a fact? It is a collective decision based on the collective opinions of what a desk is. There is no spoon; it is a small bowl with a handle made with approximately 42 grams of metal.
- In an argument, one person can twist, and the other person can look for angles to explain their position. Which one you depend on depends on how humble you are. Pride goes before a fall.
